Toshiba TCS40DxR Digital-Output Magnetic Sensors detect proximity to a permanent magnet by sensing the strength of the magnetic flux density. These devices have a significantly smaller and thinner package, which reduces the mounting area in small devices such as mobile phones. These digital-output magnetic sensors are highly sensitive and ideal for open/close sensing for various applications. These applications include cellular phones, notebook PCs, digital cameras, digital video cameras.
