SKY87608 Non-Synchronous Step-Down Converter

Skyworks SKY87608 Non-Synchronous Step-Down Converter operates with a wide 4.5V to 28V input voltage range. The output voltage of this converters is as low as 0.9V and can supply up to 3A of output current. The SKY87608 step-down converter features up to 97% efficiency, 450kHz of fixed switching frequency, and internal 180mΩ high-side N-channel MOSFET. This converter with an external voltage divider can set input voltage from 12% to 80% and adjusts the output voltage. The SKY87608 features input under-voltage, overcurrent protection, and thermal overload protection. Typical applications include set-top boxes, distributed power systems, and industrial applications. The SKY87608 step-down DC-DC converter is available in a standard 8-pin SOP-8L package.
