Broadcom Optocouplers

Broadcom Optocouplers provide a reliable isolation solution in applications such as variable-speed drives, electric vehicles, induction cookers, and solar inverters. The devices are the preferred solution for insulation and isolation. The Broadcom Optocouplers feature isolation amplifier (iso-amps) products with higher performance and smaller packages.

The Broadcom Optocouplers are used broadly in industrial networking systems for countless purposes. The input voltage range and power dissipation in the shunt resistor limit the maximum current. With a 200mV input voltage range, currents of 150A are easily implemented. However, if state-of-the-art shunt resistors and thermal management are applied, currents of 500A are within reach.
