STMicroelectronics EVLGANSPIN1-3PH Reference Design Board
STMicroelectronics EVLGANSPIN1-3PH Reference Design Board is based on the GANSPIN611 half-bridge GaN system-in-package and the STM32G431RB with Arm® Cortex®-M4 MCU at 170MHz with 128Kbytes of Flash memory, and a Math Accelerator. The board can be utilized for sensorless field-oriented control (FOC), enabling the driving of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) and brushless DC (BLDC) motors across a wide range of applications, such as refrigerator compressors, pumps, fans, and industrial appliances.
The STMicroelectronics EVLGANSPIN1-3PH Reference Design Board measures 77mm x 88mm, features a 4-layer, 2oz FR-4 PCB, and results in an overall 12°C/W Rth(J-A) (equivalent to 72°C/W for each GaN and 32°C/W for each half-bridge) in still air.
